9/27/09 Another fun day for Boys that are in Scouting, two had their Eagle Court of Honor for reaching their Eagle Scouting Awards! Sal and Anthony enjoyed the festivities and the celebration of their accomplishments! I had the privelage to take photos so they have these memories to look back on. That is the pleasure of being a photographer is to capture these special moments of peoples lives.
9/26/09 A great day for the GHS tennis team and the boys played well!
9/25/09 Today I got to meet with the gal who is doing her "Senior project" on photography. Mentoring is such an honor. Her passion is so obvious for photography it is refreshing! This will be a fun year helping her with her craft!
9/19/09 My photographic fun was being able to photograph High School Senior twins, we had fun doing them together and seperate. The playful shots of them on playground equipement and swings and then splashing in the creek turned out so well! Oh to be 17 again!
9/18/09 The wedding I photographed this afternoon, was the Father of one of my Bride's that I photographed in July. It was like I was part of their family and that gives me an opportunity to get some amazing shots with a journalistic element. The outdoor wedding was in their yard and another wonderful weather day. Fun was had by all!
9/17/09 My son's High School Tennis team is playing well and have had a number of Tennis Meets that I have had fun photographing for the boys to have great action shots, it gives me a chance to do some high speed shooting that I don't do at weddings much. Go Greenwood Woodmen!
9/13/09 Today is a blue day, a friend and myself worked one of the concession stands in Lucas Oil Stadium, for our son's Boy Scout Troop funds. We have a great spot, but since we work constantly, we can't enjoy the Colts great plays, but the Colts pulled out a win even though we were too busy to cheer them on. The Stadium is such an amazing building.
9/12/09 Megan and Patrick tied the knot today. Another blessed day of great weather. Their children added alot to the day for them. The Logansport Church of the Bretheren was such a great place for their ceremony. We continued on to the Country View Inn for the Reception and it was a great celebration for the couple.
9/8/09 Another day of learning, today attended the David Ziser Wake Up Call seminar for photographers. It is so cool to learn more and be affirmed that I am in the right direction of providing my couples the best in Digital Photography. A number of photographers that are friends attended as well. Once again, good information was gained today. It is fun to keep current with the photography trends of the day.
9/5/09 My wedding today was held at the State Capitol in Indianapolis. God gave them a great day, the weather was over the top in beauty! Savanah and Wes were fun to photograph and the love they have for each other was so obvious! The capitol gave them a wonderful backdrop for their ceremony. We did a number of shots downtown from their horse and carriage. Then the reception was at the Hyatt and they gave the couple such a pleasant and fun celebration.
8/29/09 This morning was a healthy rise and shine, Isom Elementary held it's annual Walk Run and I did walk, and run and took some photos of those who participated and enjoyed this walk. Next year, I invite all of you to attend, it is a 5 K so just a little over 3 miles, through Old Town Greenwood.
8/11/09 Another fun day, attended a seminar from Graphi Studios, (the albums that I offer), at a fellow photographer's studio, DeFabis Photography. Looking at the new albums they offer and learning how to more efficiently use their software was much needed information, so that I can serve all of you who hire us, better. Thank you Joe DeFabis and Graphi Studios for this event.
8/10/09 Today, was an opposite shoot day from yesterday. Today my daughter's Girl Scout Troop attended the Demi Lovato concert at the Indiana State Fair, what a talented young lady she is. I know our girls enjoyed it, but I think us moms enjoyed it more. Yes, I took some great photos.
8/9/09 Another great photo day, one of the young men in my son's Boy Scout troop held his Eagle Scout Court of Honor today, where he did his Eagle project at his elementary school. I feel so privelaged to photograph events like this that are such a step in an individual's life. A number of past Eagle Scouts attended from young to very seasoned. A fine event.
8/6/09 Photographed a great group of people who are part of the Irwin Tool, Catapillar group, we did their company photos outside, it was a nice day, and the crew even climbed up on a big piece of Catapillar equipment, making such a great photo op.
7/25/09 The couple we photographed today have been waiting so long to become husband and wife. Gil and Celeste made my job of capturing this day, such a delight. They were married in the Lodge at River Walk on The White River, such a beautiful location for this great event.
7/24/09 Today we were up early, parking cars at the Brickyard, to add funds to my son's band trip funds, it was fun and the weather was great, not hot, not humid.
7/18/09 Today I am photographing a wedding in Jamestown, Brittany and Kyle have a joy about them that their love shows in that joy. What a good day for them, only a few ups and downs, ie: the tux place, forgot most of the groomsmen's pants, but with only an extra trip, this was corrected. Her dress and flowers were so pretty and fit her personality of fun. Even her panties were her "something blue" and said, "Bride", told you that she was fun.
7/17/09 After 3 games, our kids have, for the second year, won the Distric championship for our age group, now on to the Regional playoffs in Clarksville, In.
7/11/09 We started the playoffs for our son's All Stars Team toward State Championships, today was the first game of the Division Champs. We played at the Little League fields in Bedford. Our kids played hard and won. Martinsville gave us a run though and they played well.
7/10/09 Today was an honor to photograph Tim and Lindsay's wedding. The ceremony was at Our Lady of the Greenwood and reception at The Atrium. Both venues are so great to make the day so smooth for the couple. They had the Irish Blessing said and that was always my mother's favorite, yes, I am of Irish heritage.
7/4/09 Happy Independence Day everyone! Tall Trees Photography had 2 weddings to photograph today and the weather was so wet and raininy but it didn't ruin the wonderful day that our couples enjoyed. I photographed Kacey and Brandon's wedding and what fun! They met at college and now they are wed.Their ceremony was at Gray Road Baptist Church and it is always a great place to take amazing photos. Their reception at Valle Vista, was fun, the rain dampened our outdoor photo ops, but we did a few with an umbrella under the gazebo. Ernie photographed Stephen and Kathy's wedding in Columbus, Indiana and again what fun and a great couple to photograph.
6/27/09 This morning we slept in a little, then off and running, my son's Boy Scout troop had a cobbler booth at the Greenwood Freedom Festival and our daughter had won a special event at the Indianapolis Zoo and so my husband and sister went with her for that, while we baked and sold cobbler. The zoo event was finished in time for them to join us to enjoy the fireworks as a family. What a fun day and yes, I am tired.
6/22/09 This morning we loaded up and headed up to Wisc. the traffic in Chicago made it take so long, but once we arrived at our Aunt's house, the kids were pleased. We also, then went to South Bend and picked up our other living Aunt and I had an appointment with a bride too, which we had to postpone, the traffic in Chicago made us 7 hours off our original schedule,(I grew up outside of Denver and even worked a number of years in a Downtown Denver camera store, but nothing is as frustrating as Chicago traffic, I don't know how people do that everyday, Ugh). Then back to my Aunts in Wisc. We had fun as always, did some visiting and swimming and since it was so hot, we chose inside activities and had a great water fight with hoses, squirt guns and buckets and yes, I was my kids target!
We did a lot of landscape photos and old and new barn shots, the layout of that area of Wisconsin is so beautiful.
Came home on the 26th and tired.
6/21/09 My sister landed in Greenwood, after spending time in Tenn. with one of her dear friends from Tipton. She flew in from Colorado last week to have a few weeks of vacation in In.
6/20/20/09 Kristen and David had a wonderful wedding that I photographed today, my son was my assistant and he did great in getting the journalistic stuff for me. Their wedding was at Valle Vista and as always the staff gave the couple a great day.The groom, David, is a martial arts trainer and competitor and we had fun with his skills in making one of a kind wedding images.
6/19/09 Today I was blessed with photographing Nick and Myranda's wedding at Our Lady of the Greenwood church and their reception was at the Rathskeller in downtown Indy. Again, what a great day for this couple, the weather was great, even though Thunderstorms rolled through, during the reception, no one even knew. Myranda was so beautiful and easy to photograph. Their priest even kicked up his heels at the reception.
6/13/09 Today was a full day shoot in southern Brown County, a family photograph, they came from all over the country and this was a privelage for me to be asked to photograph this important get together for this family.
6/1/09 When I thought that I could start sleeping past 6 a.m., our son has a.m. activities to change that mind set, tennis practice and working at cleaning the school. Even with an early start, I still have so much editing to do and organizing images for albums and more, I am thankful to be busy.
5/30/09 Today, again, Tall Trees Photography had 2 weddings to photograph. My wedding was up in Hammond, Indiana. Gerri and Felix were blessed with such a great day. Their ceremony was outside and perfect weather was today! They met at work and their boss who was responsible for these two meeting attended. Here in the Indy area, Ernie and Kris photographed Justin and Sara at the White River Garden at the Zoo, inside the Butterfly Garden. Again, such a wonderful day for outside weddings and photos. Kris told me an amazing story that I know that Sara and Justin will remember, always. While they were lighting their unity candle, her side candle went out and then relit, Ernie was able to catch this in his photos.
5/28/09 Already the last day of school, just seems like we were starting not all that long ago. This is the last year for our son to be in Middle School, his next step is High School. Where did our little guy go?
5/23/09 Today, Tall Trees Photgraphy, had 2 weddings to photograph. Ernie and Kris photographed Drake and Amanda and their Valle Vista Wedding, and I photographed Caleb and Katie's wedding in Bloomington and their reception was in Brown County State Park's Abe Martin Lodge. Both couple's made their days so fun and great to photograph. Caleb and Katie met as he was Katie's first flight instructor, and now the rest for these 2 pilots is history.Or just the beginning of their history.
5/16/09 Another fun week of meeting with brides and grooms and editing photos and preparing albums for my clients. Today started early, though, we went down Southwest of Traflagra, Indiana for a full day of Girl Scout adventures as we were part of the "Junior Jam" we hiked and hiked and hiked and canoed (my favorite), it rained, the sun shined, it rained, we got wet, we got muddy, we got 3 minivans stuck in the mud and pushed them out. The girls had fun with meeting other Girl Scouts and traded "swaps" made by the girls to trade. What a great day of fun!
5/6/09 With all the photo work that I continue to do, it is fun to be a part of my kid's athletic endeavors, tonight not only was there a baseball game, but my daughter was part of the all elementary school track meet at the GHS track. What a lot of volunteers to make this such a good event for the kids. Melanie placed 3rd in the mile run and was surprised when they pulled her out at the finish line to tell her. What a fun surprise, she didn't think she did as well. Yes, I captured the fun in photos.
5/3/09 After church, our daughter and a friend of hers, went to Eagle Creek Park for a fun afternoon, we played, hiked and played, what a fun day.
5/2/09Another full day, First I photographed the Mother's Luncheon get together at our church, please remember it for next year, we have it the Sat. before the Sat. before Mother's Day, the guest speaker was our own Sunday School Administrator and God gave her such insite to guide and encourage us moms and women.
Next, I was on to the Art Museum of Indianapolis and took engagement photos of Nick and Myranda, their wedding is in June, we had amazing weather for this and their photos are great! I am looking forward to photographing their wedding!
4/24/09 Another busy day with Tall Trees Photography. The best part was photographing a woman who is part of a husband/wife worship team, and they serve our Lord so well with the music that He has given them. We did photos, in spite of the strong winds, for her CD cover and then she also is a personal trainer and did some promo shots for her. If any of you need a personal trainer, check out Liz Hayes, she will help you get and stay in top shape.
4/23/09 Today starts a long line of Baseball Games for our son. He is on the Juniors (13-15) Tigers team for Greenwood Little League. This is the start of a great season for the boys. I enjoy taking photos of the boys in action and get quite a number of series of swings and pitches and more. Prior to the game, for my daughter's Junior Girl scout troop, I helped them to earn their Camera Badge, the girls had fun with using the different cameras and subject matters to explore photography.
4/21/09 A full week of working on editing and organizing the weddings that I have and am yet to photograph.
Tonight was our daughter's elementary school "Spring Sing" they perform on the stage at Greenwood High School. The kids did so well. Good Job Isom Elementary.
4/18/09 Today I was blessed to photograph the wedding of Frances and Brandon. Brandon is in the Navy and was wed in his uniform, making the photos over the top. The couple was great to work with and for. What a fun couple.
4/17/09 Our daughter was so excited all day, in anticipation of the Dance recital tonight. It was held at the Murat Theatre, in downtown Indianapolis. What a great job by all the dancers and a great experience for them.
4/15/09 Today was our daughter's dance recital dress rehersal and Stage 1 Dance Academy does such a good job on teaching our children to dance and how to apply it to a performance and the discipline that it takes. This is her 6th year and recieved a 6th year trophy. Of course I took a number of photographs and captured the beauty of dance.
4/8/09 Today was a straighten my office up day, a friend who is an organizing queen came over and wow. I can work so much more efficiently and get things done much quicker. So if you need some orgainizing Angie is great.
4/7/09 Worked on orders today and then with a high school senior that I am mentoring for her senior project on photography, we went to a park in Franklin and I was her key grip and held my various reflectors and helped her with some portraits. It was fun.
4/6/09 Back to school for the kids and much work for me to catch up on orders, albums and more.
4/1/09 I see why the break include April Fool's Day, the kids were kinder to one another than I expected.
3/31/09 Second day of my kids spring break and the weather I hope, cooperates, so they can get some outside activities in, we did go bike riding today and it was fun.
3/30/09 What a beautiful morning for doing an engagement photo at the park, a little muddy but Amanda and Drake were so fun to photograph. We are shooting their wedding in May.
3/14/09 Photographed Beth and Steve's wedding today, at Valle Vista, what a beautiful day and God gave us an amazing Sunset to utilize in their photos. Beth's gown was like what I imagine would have been worn in the 30's, elegant and beautiful.
3/13/09 Just continuing to photograph, photoshop, and get orders into my lab. This evening was the "Spring Fling" at my daughter's school, it is like an indoor carnival, and we had so much fun.
2/28/09 This weekend started the Cookie sales for my daughter's Girl Scout troop. I photographed the Woodland Girl Scout unit's Father Daughter Dance this evening. The girls and dads had fun, it had an Arabian Night theme.

2/19/09 Worked on orders and marketing today and talked to some very nice brides as they are considering hiring us to photograph their day.
2/16/09 The kids were home to celebrate President's Day and we watched my neighbor's toddler and she is a busy kid. Tried working on photo orders but not with great success.
2/14/09 Happy Valentines Day!!
2/11/09 Well we went from snow to rain, it is so wet here and coming from Colorado ( a much more arid and dry place, in fact a drought has been there for too long) it amazes me how much water is in this part of the country. When my sister and her husband moved back to Colorado, he compared the dry to what he thinks the planet Mars must look like. It is so nice to not to have to water lawns and everything looks so green.
1/28/09 wow I love snow and we have plenty! I took a number of photos and we have almost 10" in our front yard.
1/27/09 Snow, and lots of it! This is wonderful! While I worked on photos, my husband and the kids went to the park where the hills are great for sledding and had a blast!!
1/26/09 This past weekend, I photographed Josh and Lyndsey's wedding. It was such a nice weekend for the end of Jan. Their ceremony and reception were at Tippacanoe Country Club in Monticello. It was a great place for their wedding and the view from the windows let us enjoy the snow and it was a pretty scene. Their little girl was such a cutie and her dress matched Lyndsey's.
1/22/09 Today was a field trip with my daughter's class and we went to the Indiana State Museum and had fun learning about the State and also enjoyed the Imax film on The Grand Canyon. Of course it was so well filmed and in 3d wow!! If you get a chance to see this, I highly recomend it!!
1/20/09 This morning I joined a new group, Affiliated Womens International, we had a lunch meeting at Dennys. It was good to meet a number of women in different business. I joined Facebook and it is a cool comunication venue, It is more fun than I figured that it would be!
1/19/09 Today was a day off from school in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King. My daughter and I went to the Indiana State Museum and our first stop was to the Imax and we saw their film on The Alps, amazing story on top of amazing cinematography, what a fabulous work of film art!!
1/17/09 I pray that all of you have stayed warm through this cold that we have had. My son and his Boy Scout troop are on a winter camporee this weekend and they sleep in tents and do all day outdoor activities. I am thankful that they weren't out there on Thursday, Thursday evening and especially when it was so brutal on Friday morning. Here this weekend I am working on getting a few frozen pipes to unthaw and am continuing working on the albums and prints that have been ordered. Again stay warm. I was hoping we would have some more snow to make the cold more worth while but no sledding yet. In fact I have a big pot of Chili brewing on my stove.
1/4/09 My first wedding of this year was at Valle Vista and yes, outside (partially) and it was cold, although, Rachel and Brendan were hoping for Snow, but we just had cold and wind, but their photos are wonderful and they are such a fun couple. In fact Brendan in his tux was acting like James Bond and had fun with that. He is in the Air Force and on Rachel's garter, she had the Airforce emblem. I thought it was a great detail to include on their wedding day.
1/1/09 Happy New Year!
12/25/08 Merry Christmas and enjoy celebrating Jesus' birthday!
12/13/08 Today was such a fun thing to photograph and for my daughter and her Girl Scout troop. We were at The Indiana State Museum along with thousands of other Girl Scouts and the 2nd annual Holiday Sing. What a fun event for our girls and the museum was a great place for this event and while up on the upper level shooting photos down to capture the whole event, the Girls looked like the elfs on "The Polar Express"
12/4/08 Wow, Christmas is approaching so quickly and I am working to get all of the portrait orders and wedding orders and albums done, before the holidays. This is such a busy and yet wonderful time of the year, when we reflect on the Greatest Christmas gift ever, Our Lord and Savior's Birthday!! It is His birthday and "we got the gift". Please enjoy this gift all year and always!!
11/30/08 The family photo I did today had a holiday twist, I photographed them in their home, in front of their Christmas tree, and All were in new Pajamas, what a cute holiday portrait session.
11/29/08 Carla and Harry's wedding is what I was blessed to photograph. Their wedding was at Valle Vista and the lights they have up for the holidays, added to the simple and elegant beauty for their wedding. It was a great day for them.
11/27/08 Happy Thanksgiving from Tall Trees Photography and the McDonald Family! Give God Thanks for everything.
11/17/08 Since it was sooo cold today, I had an outdoor portrait scheduled, but we did it inside and the husband was so thankful that we did change where we did their family photo.
11/10/08 Today, I was honored to capture the Greenwood Middle School's Veteran's Day program with my camera, including the band and the choir. I was so mooved by a student who's Father lost his life serving in Afghanastan and her courage to read a poem that she had written and dedicated to her dad, I don't think there was a dry eye in the place. It proves once again what a wonderful country that we live in and the men and women who continue to serve, so that we can all enjoy the freedom of The United States Of America!
11/8/08 Again, in todays wind, I did a large Family Photo at Providence Park in Franklin and wow, they are beautiful. This park helps me create nice family portraits.
11/7/08 In todays wind I photographed a family and the wind was not as much of a detriment as I started thinking that it might be. We used Westside Park and the trees did block alot of the wind gusts for me.
11/3/08 Today was my pleasure to take photos form my son's Middle School band concert. He plays the Trombone and for this being only his third year of playing, the progress is so amazing. Greenwood Schools have a great music program.
10/31/08 West Lafayette was my destination today, Yes by Purdue on Halloween, to do engagement photos of Brittany and Kyle. The campus was a great place to do their photos and we enjoyed the day. They are getting married in July '09. They enjoy being with each other so much. When we were finished we enjoyed lunch at Chipolte's and on Halloween, if you dress as one of their Tacos, or Burritos you get your meal free, and being in a college town, it was fun.
10/23/08 Today I photographed Lidsey and Tim's engagement photos and we had fun downtown. We did a number at the White River Park and they even climbed a tree, (See my engagment portfolio page). We went further into the downtown Indy shots and they put on Colts jerseys and we photograped them by Lucas Oil Stadium, in the midsts of a number of FFA kids, as it was also during the FFA National Convention.
10/22/08 Finally our kitchen floor and repairs are finished and we had the recovery company do a walk through. It is so nice to be back to full functioning after the hot water heater caused such damage and an inconvience.
10/19/08 Today, after church, I had the pleasure of photographing Myranda and Nick and their engagement portraits. We went up to Eagle Creek Park and had perfect weather and many photo ops to create beautiful images for their love.
10/18/08 Today is my son's 14th Birthday and we had a birthday party for him with a Halloween costume options and my husband built a bonfire and we roasted hot dogs and marshmallows and fun was had by all. After hours on the Wii some of his buddies spent the night and of course they stayed up all night watching movies and talking. What a fun day.
10/15/08 On October 4th we photographed Kevin and Mandi's wedding. Their ceremony and reception were at Piper's in Indianapolis. As always the decorations and the staff were over the top in giving the couple a wonderful wedding day. Mandi enjoyed her day. Kevin even gave his ring bearer a swirly. On the 11th my church hosted a Fall Festival and the kids loved the Bounce houses and not only did I take photos for our chuch but I also manned the fish tank booth and the children were delighted to take home goldfish. We now have 2 gold fish that reside in our living room and our daughter is their main caretaker.
10/1/08 It is already October and my son's tennis team is doing well and having fun at their meets. On Sept. 28th had the pleasure of photographing Gustavo and Betzi's wedding. They had their wedding and reception at Valle Vista. Their son enjoyed riding in the carrige and petting the horse. The weather was more than perfect. The same weekend my son's Boy Scout troop had a horsemanship camping outing and they enjoyed learning about the care of and riding of horses.
9/20/08 Today I had the privelage of photographing with 2 assistants; Kim and Lori; the Indianapolis-American Heart Association-Heart Walk. They held it the Celebration Plaza at the White River Park. What an amazing turn out of walkers and sponsors. Also joining us was a High School Senior doing her Senior project on photography and I am her mentor. What a good experience for all.
9/13/08 What a week, our hot water heater blew up and we had water all over and the floors were ruined and it is where I keep my office and computer so now I have my stuff everywhere and am not at full functioning effeciency. Today we photographed Danny and Ashley's wedding. What a romantic wedding they enjoyed. The ceremony at their church was so heart touching. The Odysey in Franklin was a great place to have their reception. The one fact that I thought was neat was how Danny and Ashley met, Ashley's best friend dated Danny first and the rest is now history or really "her"story.
8/28/08 Labor Day weekend is coming up, this year has been going by so fast. On the 16th I had the joy of photographing Lee and Sarah's wedding. Lee was one of my son's Sunday school teacher's. Sarah and Lee had dated for 6 years and it was such a special day and ceremony. The groom and groomsmen had Tux's that included a top hat and cane and they had such great entertainment in using those items as props.
Lots of computer work and shooting this weekend and I pray that all of you stay safe, whether you are traveling for this long weekend or staying home. God Bless.
8/14/08 Well, our children went back to school today and yes, I did the embarrassing 1st day of school photos with them by their school signs and my 9 year old with her new teacher. This past weekend I photographed Donnie and Christina's wedding and they had such a beautiful day. Their reception was at her uncle's property and it was such a nice place for this couple to enjoy their family and friends.
7/29/08 It is almost August, who could believe that time would go by so fast? It is probably due to amazing clients that have given me a chance to capture memories and events in their lives, to last a lifetime. This has been a fun photo shooting summer.
Our son's All Star Team went to the State Championship Games in Chicago, Indiana and had a time of their lives. They played three games and didn't win any but came home winners for the experience and I thank our team of coaches for how many hours they put into practice and most of all for making it a chance of a lifetime and allowed the boys to enjoy the time at the State Championships. They took the boys to Lake Michigan to swim and then play at the Dunes and let our boys be boys, and baseball players.
I have been up in Wisconsin taking amazing photos and what an opportunity. Then of course while I could, I shot photos at the Baseball Championships ( I could only make a few games), but it was great, I haven't done serious sports photography in a number of years.
7/15/08 Wow, is this summer full of fun and wonderful photography. This past weekend, our son had back to back, all Star playoff games in Bedford, In and they won both games, so they are representing Greenwood, In 13 yr olds, in the state playoffs. The boys team work and consistancy paid off for them. Of course I was able to get some amazing action shots of the boys. Next week the play offs are in Chicago,In and I hope most of all they have fun and do their best.
6/30/08 Last weekend I had the joy of photographing Raymond and Jade's wedding. What fun; a few years ago I had photographed Raymond's sister wedding, so it was like old times and fun friends. The rain held out until we were well into the reception and that was a blessing!
Wednesday while at a late baseball game for my son's team, my face was attacked by poison sumac and my face is so red and slightly swollen, so I am thankful that I had kid activities and no wedding this weekend. My face is healing rapidly, but it is so unpleasant.
My children were involved in the Greenwood Freedom Festival this Saturday. We started off in the morning with my daughter marching in the parade with her Girl Scout troop and we had amazing nice weather. Then we were all day cooking and preparing and selling Cobler and Ice Cream at a food booth for my son's Boy Scout Troop fund raiser, we had the boys doing the serving and selling while us adults baked so much cobbler, Fun was had by all and it was a succesful fund raiser for our boys.
Now I need to continue to get out wedding albums and prints and more.
Hope you and your families have a Blessed 4th of July and thank our Lord and Savior for the privilage of living in America. Thank a service man or woman for keeping our country free.
6/19/08 Well the flooding has ended in Indiana for now. I hope all of you stayed out of harms way. This past Saturday, I had the joy of photographing Marty and Nichole's wedding, we had a beautiful day. The fun reception was held at Valle Vista in Greenwood. Tommorow I have the honor of taking the engagement photos for Danny and Ashley, Danny was once, the Scoutmaster for my son's Boy Scout Troop. They are tying the knot in Sept. of this year.
My son is at Boy Scout camp this week and in Little League Baseball playoffs, they lost their last game and finished 3rd in their age group.
6/9/08 This weekend I think most of us saw more rain on Sat. than any other day ever. I pray that all of you are safe and drying out. Molly and Benjamin were married on this rainy Sat and on the way to their church I could hardly see out of my windshield and yet I was able to arrive on time and the church awning allowed me to keep my equipment dry. God is wonderfully kind, the storms and rain stopped before their ceremony and the sun even shown. The reception was at Chateau Thomas Winery and they had lost their electricity prior to the wedding and again God and His kindness shown, electricity was restored and Molly and Benjamin had a wonderful day.
6/1/08 What a fun weekend. Friday night my son had back to back Little League games and the final one was called, due to lightning and rain. I hope that all of you were not affected by the storms on Friday night or Sat. morning. But the saying, "Sun comes in the morning" was just that. Sat. I was blessed with photographing, Travis and Haylee's wedding at Valle Vista Golf Club. They had such a great day for an outdoor wedding, the wind was a test, but gave us great shots with Haylee's vail. Their wedding was joy to be part of. They shared with me how they met 6 years ago-she was in a Sorority and Travis was a waiter at one of the Sororities parties. It is wonderful to hear how couples met and fell in love.
5/30/08 Now our kids are out of school and I am glad the weather has made it so great to play outside. Our son has back to back ball games tonight and we will be praying the storms skip us.
This past weekend was race weekend in Indy and I enjoyed photographing a fun couple on their wedding day at the Elks Country Club in West Lafayette, if you golf or need a fabulous wedding venue, this is the place. God gave Holli and Blake a rain free day and what a great day.
This weekend I am closer to home at Valle Vista and again, the rain forcast that we had yesterday for Sat. has been changed and now we are to have a clear Sat. and for that I do thank our heavenly Father for blessing this couple's special day.
